A Lifelong Passion for the Automobile
It Started Long Before Velo Forge.
My fascination with exceptional cars started when I was eight years old.
I still remember seeing carbon fiber interior trim for the first time and becoming completely captivated by the materials, details, and craftsmanship that could make an automobile feel like something far beyond transportation. Around that same time, I fell in love with Porsche.
At twelve, my dad taught me to drive a manual transmission in a first-generation Porsche Boxster S. Learning the relationship between clutch, throttle, sound, and machine from behind the wheel of a Porsche is one of those experiences that stays with you.
By eighteen, I was working with luxury automobiles professionally. That passion eventually led me into automotive restoration, where I have spent the last fifteen years working closely with the materials, finishes, colors, and details that give special cars their identity.
Velo Forge grew naturally from that world.
After years spent appreciating the smallest details of remarkable automobiles, I wanted to create something that could carry a piece of that connection beyond the car itself.
