Shipping Policy

At Velo Forge, each ring is made to order and individually finished by hand. Because our pieces are custom and high in value, we take additional care in how orders are packed, shipped, and delivered.

Please review the following shipping policy before placing an order.

Production Time

All Velo Forge rings are made to order. Production times vary depending on current order volume, material availability, and finish requirements.

Estimated production timelines may be listed on the product page, during checkout, or in your order confirmation. These timelines are estimates only unless otherwise expressly stated.

 

Shipping Method and Protection

All Velo Forge orders are shipped with insured transit coverage and signature required delivery.

Because of the value of our products, packages will not be left unattended where signature service is available. A delivery signature is required for the package to be considered successfully delivered.

We reserve the right to choose the shipping carrier and service used for each order unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Address and Contact Information Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and phone number at checkout.

If an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable shipping address or phone number is provided, Velo Forge is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, loss, misdelivery, or additional shipping charges resulting from that error.

If an order is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information, failed delivery attempts, or inability of the carrier to complete delivery using the information provided, reshipment will be at the customer’s expense.

 

Delivery Attempts and Signature Requirement

Because a signature is required, the carrier may attempt delivery more than once or hold the package for pickup, depending on the carrier’s procedures.

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking information, ensure that someone is available to sign for the package, and respond to any carrier communication regarding delivery.

Velo Forge is not responsible for delays caused by missed delivery attempts or failure to retrieve a held package in time.

 

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, you must contact us within 5 days of the marked delivery date or delivery confirmation at shopveloforge@gmail.com

 

Subject Line:  Lost or Damaged Packages - {Customer First & Last name}

Please include:

 

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • clear photos of the package and item, if damaged

  • any relevant delivery or tracking details

If a package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, Velo Forge will work directly with the shipping carrier and/or shipping insurer to investigate the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.

If we determine that the shipment was lost or damaged before successful delivery, we may, at our discretion:

 

  • replace the item

  • remake the item

  • repair the item, if applicable

  • or provide another appropriate remedy

 

Marked Delivered / Signed For Packages

A package will be considered delivered once it has been marked delivered by the carrier to the shipping address provided at checkout and, where applicable, signed for at delivery.

Velo Forge is not responsible for loss or theft that occurs after confirmed delivery, including after signature acceptance, except as required by law.

 

Shipping Delays

 


Once an order has shipped, delivery times may vary based on carrier operations, weather, routing, location, or other circumstances outside our control.

Velo Forge is not responsible for carrier-related delivery delays after the package has been shipped.

If we are unable to ship your order within the timeframe stated at checkout, or within 30 days if no specific timeframe was provided, we will contact you with an updated timeline and provide any options required by applicable law.

 

Shipping Availability

Shipping availability may be limited based on destination, carrier limitations, insurance restrictions, or other operational constraints.

Velo Forge reserves the right to decline or cancel any order if shipment cannot be completed safely, lawfully, or reasonably to the requested destination. In that case, any amount paid that cannot be fulfilled will be refunded.
